At Lafayette Hart Park, the scope of work included the new construction of a dedicated Men’s and Women’s restroom facility, along with associated civil and utility infrastructure improvements. The project encompassed full site preparation, including clearing, grubbing, and earthwork operations consisting of excavation, grading, and subgrade compaction to establish proper building pad elevations and drainage conditions in accordance with engineered site plans.
The civil utility scope included installation of storm drainage systems designed to manage site runoff and provide compliant discharge control, as well as domestic water service connections and sanitary sewer infrastructure supporting the restroom facility. All underground utilities were installed with proper bedding, alignment, testing, and backfilling in accordance with applicable municipal standards and regulatory requirements.
Electrical scope included the installation of service conduits, panel connections, grounding systems, and distribution infrastructure necessary to support building power demands. Additional work included installation of a lightning protection system designed to safeguard the structure in accordance with code-compliant requirements, as well as site lighting systems to enhance visibility, security, and safe nighttime use of the park facilities.
Concrete flatwork included the construction of pedestrian walkways and access paths connecting the restroom building to existing park circulation routes. All concrete work was installed with proper grading, reinforcement, finishing, and jointing to ensure durability, ADA compliance, and long-term performance. The completed project resulted in a fully functional restroom facility integrated with complete utility and site infrastructure improvements.
