At McDonald Water Park, the scope of work consisted of the installation of approximately 40,000 square feet of tile finishes throughout the Men’s and Women’s restroom facilities, as well as designated concession shade structure areas. The tile installation included both floor and wall applications, executed in accordance with approved design documents, manufacturer requirements, and industry standards for high-traffic, wet-use environments.
All substrate preparation was performed prior to installation, including surface leveling, moisture mitigation as required, and application of appropriate setting materials to ensure proper bond strength, alignment, and long-term durability. Tile assemblies were installed with precise layout control, consistent joint spacing, and proper slope conditions in wet areas to facilitate positive drainage and compliance with applicable building and accessibility codes.
In addition, tile finishes were installed on concession bar counter tops located within shade structure facilities, providing durable, low-maintenance, and water-resistant surfaces suitable for public use and food service environments.
The project also included the complete installation of toilet accessories and plumbing fixtures throughout the restroom facilities. This scope encompassed mounting and connection of water closets, urinals, lavatories, flush valves, partitions, grab bars, and related accessories. All plumbing fixtures were installed, tested, and adjusted to ensure proper operation, code compliance, and functional performance.
The completed scope resulted in fully finished restroom and concession areas featuring durable tile systems and fully operational plumbing fixtures designed to withstand heavy public use in a water park environment.
